PAYMENTS

All services must be prepaid

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and cash.

Expiration Dates

All Class Packages and GroupOn have an expiration date and visits must be completed by the expiration date stated on the receipt and/or contract.

Refunds

All class, party, private lessons and workshops purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please do not ask us to change our policies.

Merchandise Refunds

All merchandise purchases are final sale. We do not offer merchandise refunds; however, we will make exchanges for defective merchandise.  If you purchase merchandise online, you must pick up your order at the studio – we do not ship.

Registration Policies

CLASS REGISTRATION

– Do I have to I have to reserve a class spot?
Yes.  Pre-registration and payment for all services is required.  If a you do not register for class, arrive to class but the class is full, you may be asked to leave. We apologize for any inconvenience and ask you to call us to schedule your next class.

Registration– Register via the Zensual app, online, by text, by phone or in person.

Payment– Single class or Workshops may be purchased by cash, debit or credit card. All payments and registration must be received prior to start time.

WAIT LIST

-I’ve received an email that I’m on the Wait List. How do I know if I’ve made it into class?
If a spot has opened you for you, you will automatically be added to the class roster and receive an email.   A spot may open up for you from a few days up to to two hours before the class.
Class Rosters lock two hours prior to each class’ start time. We require a response to add a student to the class roster. Please reply to the email or send us a text message to 203-ZEN-SUAL (203-936-7825) to confirm or decline your spot.

ARRIVING TO CLASS

-What should I know?
Arrive on time, even 10 minutes early. Mentally and physically begin prepping for your training session in class.
Please do NOT enter the room if the door is closed.This means class has started.
To maintain safety standards, we require everyone be present at the start of class to participate in the warm-up and class objective announcements.  If you miss the warm-up, you will not be able to stay and participate class exercises.
Classes begin your class on time, it is important you arrive at least 10 minutes early.

Tardy/late arrivals – Registered class participants spot’s held until the class start time.  If you are not present at the start of class time, your spot will be open to any wait-listed students.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS

-What if I have to Cancel?
We hope you make it to all your classes. If you have registered and are unable to attend, Zensual requires clients to take themselves out of class, opening up a class spot for someone else. Manage your schedule via the Zensual Mobile app or text the Zensual Office.

A minimum of 4 students is required to hold a class.

EARLY CANCEL
An early-canceled class spot meets the minimum time requirement.

EARLY CANCEL- 12 hours Prior to Class Start Time
Single Class Students & Class Pack Holders, Workshop Students may cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the start of class for credit back to your Zensual account. No Refunds.

EARLY CANCEL-2 hours Prior to Class Start Time
Zensual Academy Members may cancel up to two hours prior to start of class.

LATE CANCEL/NO SHOW
A late cancel is cancellation that comes through after the required cut-off time to Early Cancel or student missed classes without canceling their registration.

LATE CANCEL/NO SHOW-Zensual Academy Members
We understand circumstances arise, so we automatically provide Zensual Academy Members with ONE missed Weekly Class.  Members, Failure to cancel your class spot results in a $10 charge to your account after one missed class.  Each missed reservation is $10.  (policy effective June 1st 2015)

LATE CANCEL/NO SHOW- Single Classes, Workshops & Specialty Class Registrants.
No Refunds. Client may cancel any service 12 hours prior to scheduled event to receive credit back to their Zensual account or reschedule to another event.  If a client fails to cancel their spot, that class credit is forfeited.

 

CLASS ETIQUETTE

Safety

Do NOT wear any lotion or oils on your body the day of your Pole class.

Please pay attention to the class instruction from the Instructor, not your fellow students. Talking in class is disrespectful to both the Instructor but also you fellow class participants.

Cell Phones

Please turn off your phone or put it in vibrate mode during class.  Hopefully this goes without saying – please do not answer your cell phone during class. It is disruptive to the entire class, so please use courtesy. If you must answer your cell phone, please step outside the studio.

Videos

Video documentation of your progress or awesome poses are highly encouraged! Be considerate of those around you who may be in your shot.

Text Messaging

If you are spending more than 15 seconds texting while in class, please step out in the lobby.

 

CLASS PARTICIPANTS

Injuries

Please let the instructor know asap so she can build in modifications or recommend something different.  Please adhere to your doctor’s recommendations.

Age

All students participating must be human, 18 yrs of age or older.  Students younger than 18 years old must have parental permission, signed by parents or legal guardians.

Men

While we are a female-driven business, we welcome men and every wonderful person in between to all pole classes.

Spectators

NO SPECTATORS.  Everyone in class must be a participant.

 


 

MEMBERSHIPS

Payments

All memberships must be paid by debit or credit card.

Cancel a Membership

WRITTEN request must be received at least 30 days in advance of your billing cycle (example: if you are scheduled to be charged February 1st and you want to cancel for the month of February, you must submit a cancellation form to Zensual Dance Fitness by January 1st.)

Freezing a Membership

The only reason we freeze memberships is for injury/illness. Notification must be received IN WRITING prior to expected payment date and are set for a maximum of 60 days with the exception of military deployment.

 

WORKSHOPS

Overview

All Workshops must be pre-paid by debit or credit card.

Registration is open to individuals or groups, registering individually.

Please see the individual Workshop page for each experience’s dress recommendation and needed supplies.

 

PRIVATE PARTIES

Overview

Parties are open to groups of 3 up to 45+ participants. We work with one coordinator, sometimes up to a year in advance of the event.  Please see the Party FAQ center for more information.

 


 

ZENSUAL DANCE FITNESS SCHEDULE MODIFICATIONS

Please be advised that a class may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the Zensual Dance Fitness management.

Studio Closure for Holidays

Zensual Dance Fitness is closed for the following holidays:

*  New Year’s Day

*  Easter Sunday

*  Memorial Day

*  4th of July

*  Labor Day

*  Thanksgiving Day

*  Christmas Eve & Day

Inclement Weather

Zensual Dance Fitness will endeavor to update the website to inform you of any changes. Classes will not be rescheduled due to weather. Your Zensual Dance Fitness account will be credited, and you may use that credit to apply to another available class. We apologize for any inconvenience. We do reserve the right to close early for the safety of our staff and students. In the event of cancellation, we will contact class participants by email and post on our website, Facebook and Twitter.
