Pole Program Director and Instructor
A fiery ball of feminine energy, Meagan fell in love with Pole Fitness as a student and progressed to become an instructor in December 2010. Meagan’s athletic ability has proven powerful, as she naturally masters her movements and teaches with humble approach that keeps her classes in high demand. No seriously – they’re literally packed with students coming back for more. Attend one and you’ll easily see why: She’s encouraging in the most genuine way and loves sharing her passion with new students.
You can also find Meagan performing around Dallas or rockin’ it at pole fitness competitions. When she’s not teaching, Meagan is active in her church and busy advancing her business career.
Alexis – also known as “Flexy Lexy” – discovered pole dance in 2009. Initially, her foray into pole was an attempt to lose weight and build muscle, while indulging herself in the art of exotic dance. Several years later and 60 pounds lighter, Alexis has no plans to slow down. She strives to be a positive example for women who doubt their ability to be strong, sexy, confident dancers at any age or size.
Alexis is a true artist; she immerses herself in creative expression on a daily basis, from her full time job in graphic design, to painting large-scale still life works of art in her home studio. In October 2012, she competed in the Amateur division of Miss Texas Pole Star where she won the title Miss Flexy. She is an avid animal lover, activist and vegetarian. [/box]
Lafaye Warwick, a true Southern Belle, was born in Talladega, AL. Having studied Business Administration at Miles College in Birmingham, AL, Lafaye began her performance career at the age of 9 in gymnastics in her local community. From there, Lafaye transitioned to cheerleading, and dance, which she fell head over heels for in high school. In fact, Lafaye was the first African-American captain of her high school kick line, the Dega Darlings. In 1999, Lafaye took her talents to college where she performed for 2 years. After two years with the team she became an instructor for the team choreographer’s dance studio.
At Ebony Arrington’s School of Dance and Performance, Ms. Warwick instructed girls ages 3 through 16 in hip hop, beginning ballet, tap, and jazz styles. In addition to these skill sets, she was the choreographer for the Jefferson County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta’s Debutantes for four years. She joined the Zensual team in 2014 as a chair fitness instructor.
Sensuous and secure, Rachel’s all about the connection of mind, body and soul. Middle school guidance counselor during the day, Rachel takes pride in assisting middle school students with their social, emotional and academic needs. However, when she lets her hair down, the Rachel transforms into a Zensual goddess, using her formal dance skills to enlighten students seeking a path to inner connection.
Rachel fell in love with the art of pole and exotic dance since taking her first class at Zensual, where her “inner dancer” could safely – and finally – be released! What’s more, she connected to the empowering combination of fitness and sensuality, which she shares excitedly with her students.
Rachel also teaches Iyengar yoga and is an avid runner.
